Super Bowl squares 2027: the Super Bowl LXI board guide

Super Bowl LXI is Sunday, February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on ABC and ESPN. That is the second Super Bowl at SoFi this decade and the first ever played on Valentine's Day. If you are the person who runs the squares board, here is the plan for this one.

The two-week timeline

1. Conference Championship Sunday (late January). The matchup is set by Sunday night. Create the board that evening so the link is ready before anyone asks.
2. The Monday after. Share the link in the group chat, the family thread, the office channel. Say the price per square and the payout split up front.
3. The following weekend. Send one reminder. Most boards fill in the last few days, and a reminder with the number of open squares gets people moving.

5. Kickoff. Do nothing. Live scores come in, the winning square lights up at the end of each quarter, and the app shows who won and how much.

Square prices that fill a board

For the Super Bowl, ten dollars a square is the sweet spot for most groups: a thousand dollar pot, big enough to matter, small enough that casual friends buy two or three. Twenty works for an office or a big family. Five is right for a group that includes teenagers or people who are only there for the halftime show.
